Autumn In The House

I'm just beginning to collect modern pieces, so when I saw this rug, I hoped it would unify the sofa, table and chair, and I think it does the job.  Not used to all this glass, so I had to add the grass in the background.  The oranges in the bowl burned as I was baking them, so had to paint them.  It adds some depth. The wall photo reinforces the autumn theme (as if there weren't enough!).  Chair and table by Elf.  Sofa, pillows and lamp by Mini Modernistas. Wish I had a real room like this!

What's Your Kitchen Wearing This Fall?

I like the idea of changing my kitchen with the seasons, as long as it's not expensive!  This was so much fun.  I'm gearing up to making some very modern, very inexpensive kitchens to sell on etsy.   Please wish me luck and be on the lookout for some really new products.
